Develop a comprehensive and robust virtual campus culture and infrastructure that meets every student’s needs both socially and professionally, while ensuring they succeed academically

- Attract and recruit high potential traditional and non-traditional students
- Create highly effective interventions, support, and success services to retain all students, especially students from traditionally classified marginalized communities
- Ensure organizational structure that is consistent and congruent with effective administration that yields to student success

Invest in expanding our capacity to attract an exceptionally diverse student body while ensuring they have access to all of MCU’s resources to be successful.

- Build a virtual community and sense of belonging for all
- With increased fundraising activities through outside resources, seek to fully fund additional scholarships, travel reimbursement fund, emergency relief fund, and other institutional initiatives that are essential to receiving an MCU education
- Enhance student access and retention by modifying the balance due policy and other financial policies that will reduce barriers and foster positive interactions for students
- Ensure all students have full access to take advantage of all of MCU’s academic and campus life opportunities

- Expansion of graduate-level programs with an increase in graduate degrees conferred.
- Cultivate a supportive environment for staff and faculty to encourage creativity, innovation, and research excellence through comprehensive professional development.
- Create staff and faculty promotion and reward systems for demonstrated excellence in published research-related activities or expertise sharing.
